Ardra
Ardra is the 6th of the twenty-seven nakshatras (lunar mansions), spanning 6°40′–20°00′ Gemini of the sidereal zodiac.
Its ruling graha is Rahu (the north node), its presiding deity Rudra (the storm-fierce form of Shiva), and its symbol the teardrop or diamond.
Ardra is the storm that clears the air — upheaval, intensity, and renewal through breaking. Ruled by Rahu and presided over by Rudra, it can be turbulent, but its destruction is the kind that makes room. After the tears, the freshness of washed ground.
