Ashlesha

Ashlesha is the 9th of the twenty-seven nakshatras (lunar mansions), spanning 16°40′–30°00′ Cancer of the sidereal zodiac.

Its ruling graha is Budha (Mercury), its presiding deity the Nagas (the serpent deities), and its symbol the coiled serpent.

Ashlesha is the coiled serpent — penetrating, hypnotic, and deeply intuitive. It gives insight that sees straight through the surface, and a power that can heal or entangle. A mansion of wisdom held close, mystery, and the cunning that knowledge brings.
