Ashwini

Ashwini is the 1st of the twenty-seven nakshatras (lunar mansions), spanning 0°–13°20′ Aries of the sidereal zodiac.

Its ruling graha is Ketu, its presiding deity the Ashwini Kumaras (the twin healers of the gods), and its symbol the horse’s head.

Ashwini is the sky’s first light — swift, pioneering, and healing. It carries the energy of a fresh start: quick to begin, eager to help, happiest in motion. Its people are often natural initiators and instinctive healers, though the same speed can leave things half-finished.
