Magha

Magha is the 10th of the twenty-seven nakshatras (lunar mansions), spanning 0°–13°20′ Leo of the sidereal zodiac.

Its ruling graha is Ketu (the south node), its presiding deity the Pitris (the ancestors), and its symbol the royal throne.

Magha is the throne — ancestry, lineage, and inherited authority. Presided over by the ancestors, it carries a sense of legacy and of standing on those who came before. It gives dignity, tradition, and the wish to honour and live up to one’s roots.
