Mula

Mula is the 19th of the twenty-seven nakshatras (lunar mansions), spanning 0°–13°20′ Sagittarius of the sidereal zodiac.

Its ruling graha is Ketu (the south node), its presiding deity Nirriti (goddess of dissolution), and its symbol the a bunch of tied roots.

Mula means "the root" — getting to the bottom of things, even by pulling them up. Under Ketu and Nirriti, it investigates, dissolves, and seeks the foundation beneath the surface. A mansion of philosophy and research, and of the upheaval that precedes real depth.
