Uttara Phalguni

Uttara Phalguni is the 12th of the twenty-seven nakshatras (lunar mansions), spanning 26°40′ Leo–10°00′ Virgo of the sidereal zodiac.

Its ruling graha is Surya (the Sun), its presiding deity Aryaman (god of patronage and contracts), and its symbol the back legs of a bed.

Uttara Phalguni completes what its predecessor began — the pleasure of rest turned into the stability of partnership. Under Aryaman, it is the nakshatra of friendship, marriage, patronage, and reliable help. Generous and steady, it gives through committed relationship.
