Bharani

Bharani is the 2nd of the twenty-seven nakshatras (lunar mansions), spanning 13°20′–26°40′ Aries of the sidereal zodiac.

Its ruling graha is Shukra (Venus), its presiding deity Yama (the lord of death and dharma), and its symbol the yoni (the womb).

Bharani is the mansion of bearing and restraint — it holds, ripens, and transforms. Governed by Yama, it knows limits and consequence, and carries a quiet endurance beneath its Venusian warmth. A nakshatra of creativity, intensity, and the discipline that brings things to term.
