Purva Ashadha

Purva Ashadha is the 20th of the twenty-seven nakshatras (lunar mansions), spanning 13°20′–26°40′ Sagittarius of the sidereal zodiac.

Its ruling graha is Shukra (Venus), its presiding deity Apas (the cosmic waters), and its symbol the a fan or winnowing basket.

Purva Ashadha is "the early invincible" — buoyant, persuasive, and unbeatable in conviction. Under Venus and the waters, it gives optimism, the power to win others over, and a purifying, refreshing quality. A mansion of confidence that carries others along.
