Purva Phalguni

Purva Phalguni is the 11th of the twenty-seven nakshatras (lunar mansions), spanning 13°20′–26°40′ Leo of the sidereal zodiac.

Its ruling graha is Shukra (Venus), its presiding deity Bhaga (god of delight and good fortune), and its symbol the front legs of a bed or hammock.

Purva Phalguni is rest, pleasure, and play — the hammock slung in the warm afternoon. Under Venus and Bhaga, it loves comfort, romance, creativity, and the good things enjoyed without guilt. A mansion of charm, leisure, and generous warmth.
