Shravana

Shravana is the 22nd of the twenty-seven nakshatras (lunar mansions), spanning 10°00′–23°20′ Capricorn of the sidereal zodiac.

Its ruling graha is Chandra (the Moon), its presiding deity Vishnu (the preserver), and its symbol the an ear or three footprints.

Shravana is the ear — listening, learning, and the wisdom that comes from attention. Under the moon and Vishnu, it gives a gift for study, connection, and the careful gathering of knowledge by hearing. A mansion of scholarship, counsel, and quiet receptivity.
